The 2nd Mindy Mae's Market: A Big Success!

Friday and Saturday, Aug 7 and 8

We love Mindy Mae's Market! What a great place to be on this beautiful weekend! Mindy Mae's Market is full of Utah's finest artisans, and Nikki Weekes, creator of Mindy Mae's Market does a fabulous job of promoting these artisans and finding the best spots to display their products. Take a look at all the fun!

The house was packed with great products from several artisan that we know and love and some great new ones!

Here is an artisan that we've been following throughout several shows. We finally got to meet her in person. This is Clarissa Haycock with Coco Sailor. She makes the cutest and coolest handmade baby and toddler t-shirts. Simple, Sweet, Homemade--just like your baby!

This is Cheryl with Greetings From Cheryl. She makes a fine selection of homemade greeting cards perfect for every occasion!

My kids came away from Mindy Mae's Market feeling very cool in their new capes purchased at the show. Such posers!

Get ready for the next Mindy Mae's Market coming soon! Go to www.mindymaesmarket.com to find out when and where! You can also look right here on Upcoming Shows in Utah for all the show info.

Great show Nikki! We had a lot of fun!

The TrendSetter Summer Boutique

Saturday August 1, 2009

Here we are at the Trendsetter Summer Boutique, promoted by Kristy Hardy and her sister. This was their first and they did a fine job! It was held at the Veteran's Memorial Building on the Spanish Fork Main Street, which was a perfect location for this fun event. I visited the boutique on Saturday with my 2 daughters and we had a lot of fun. I love meeting new vendors, it's always so great to see the many talents that people have.

Here are some of the great vendors and happenings at the Trendsetter Boutique:
This lady was amazing! (Sorry I lost your card and forgot your name-so please email me with your info). She is a very talented seamstress. Very cute stuff! She was so nice to my Bella-totally made her day when she gave her this cute teddybear.

This is Heidi Beck, owner of Chick Hardware-Handmade Fine Jewelry. I love jewelry and her stuff was very nice. She had all kinds from Turquiose to Sterling Silver to Swarovski Crystal and more. You can reach her at 801-885-1644 or email chickharware@msn.com. Great job Heidi!
This was fun! A cute girl was there doing Sparkle Toes!

This is Olivia Green, creator of Beads to Baubles-One of a kind handcrafted jewelry. Locally owned and operated, Beads to Baubles has some great jewelry for young to the young at heart. Contact Olivia at beads2baubles@live.com. Great product Olivia! I enjoyed talking with you!
There was so much more! Clothes, hats, shoes, Shirley J, etc, etc, etc! We had a lot of fun and were glad to be a part of this unique boutique. Thank you Kristy and sister and all the fabulous vendors!

Thank you Kristy and Shoe Fetish for the Little Red Box prizes!!! If you played, check The Little Red Box page under Winners to see if you won!!! Contact Missy@BoutiqueFrenzy.com to claim your prize!

The Simply Chic Craft Show was Simply So Much Fun!!!

Saturday, July 25th: The Simply Chic Craft Show

What a great show in Ogden at the Marriott Hotel! Keli Ames and her sister, Katie Powell, did a fabulous job! We had a great time and had a record breaking number of entries for our Little Red Box game!!! This show was one of the best we've been to, and we are glad we were invited to participate. If you missed the first Simply Chic Craft Show, don't make the same mistake again. Make sure to check back here for info on their next show...it's bound to be even bigger and better. Keli and Katie ran this show like they've been doing it for years, and it showed the the vendors they had and the traffic they received. The Marriott Hotel was a great location-right in the middle of historic Ogden in a beautiful conference room.

Here I am with Keli Ames and Katie Powell . Our display was all set up in the front entrance. The Simply Chic Craft Show donated some great prizes for our Little Red Box, thus we got a lot of participants.

We always love to meet vendors and learn about their talents. There were a handful at this show that really caught our eye. This first vendor has caught our eye before, and this time she surprised again. Becki's Designs was displaying a fabulous product. Becki makes flowers from recycled magazines and paper and uses them for hair clips, earrings, necklaces, etc. Take a look and check out all of her great handmade items at www.entyqua.etsy.com and www.beckisdesigns.blogspot.com. It was so nice to see you again Becki! Nice work!

It was our first meeting with G.G. Gems at this event and they really caught us by surprise. They specialize in sterling silver and gemstone jewelry. They are not just distributors, they put these beautiful pieces of jewelry together! Very neat product, very nice people. We had a great time talking with them and looking at their fine jewelry assortment. You can reach Garth Gines at 801-400-4808. He also takes special orders.

We loved Refreshing Designs by Heidi Michele! Heidi has come up with a new twist on jewelry. She handmakes this cute jewelry out of this thick aluminum wire-silver and colored in many styles and shapes. From rings to earrings and necklaces to bracelets, they were all so chic and elegant, yet playful and light. I had to buy myself a bracelet, because this jewelry was so cute and original! We saw so many ladies at the craft show walking around with Refreshing Designs jewelry. What a hit! It was so nice to meet you Heidi!!!

The Simply Chic Craft Show also had a Kids Corner where the kids could keep busy doing crafts. There was also live music by a local band called Arvis Tatum, lotts of giveaways, and Roberts Crafts! The show was fun, it was fresh, and there was something for everyone. We had a great time and can't wait for the next one. Thanks so much Keli and Katie for putting on a excellent show!

We are very excited that all of you have welcomed us into your boutiques. We have had a great time getting to know all of you! We can't wait to launch BoutiqueFrenzy.com this Fall! We are here for you! Let us help you grow your boutique business! Use our tools...the magazine, the blogs, the website...they have all developed for you! Let us know how we can help. It's FRENZY time!

Support Needed: To Take Our Community To The Next Level

Boutique Frenzy is so excited to provide an online community, BOUTIQUE Magazine and many other services to promote and organize the local boutique scene.

As we are just beginning our endeavors, we are facing the same growing pains that many do. We are seeking to make the important connections that will facilitate taking our community to the next level.

As you well know, we are on a mission to provide services for as little as possible, even free where we can. However, even though these services are being provded freely, they come at great expense. This expense has been financed solely by the owners of Boutique Frenzy with the belief that many would see the value and jump when the time presented itself, to help us make the connections that would provide funding and financial backing going forward.

Now we call on you all to search through your Rolodex and send us some help in the form of interested investors. We are very excited to be able to offer shares to those who invest including profit sharing opportunities.

Please direct all inquiries regarding this limited time opportunity to own a peice of Boutique Frenzy to Mikey. We are excited to hear from you and your contacts. Let's keep this thing moving!

A HOT Boutique!

Saturday, July18

Boutique Frenzy had a lot of fun yesterday at the Chic & Unique Boutique, organized by Lynibew Boutique, which was held at the San Moritz Clubhouse in Midvale,UT. Wowee! The temperature was well above 100 degrees-a beautiful summer day! Unfortunately, I don't think they got as many people as they wanted because of the heat. For those that didn't mind the heat and were looking for some fun and talented vendors, this was a very fun and quaint boutique. We had a chance to talk to every vendor and got to know what they do and prime them for what is to come with Boutique Frenzy. Make sure you go to The Little Red Box to play our online contest for prizes that were donated from the Chic & Unique Boutique. You have 4 chances to win one of two prizes!

During the major heat of the day, the kids also got a chance to cool off by the San Moritz Clubhouse pool! They had a great time...and mommy too! There were also snow cones and a blow up house for the kids! If you missed this fun shopping experience, you missed out! It was hot all the way around!

Thank you Lynibew Boutique and San Moritz for letting Boutique Frenzy be a part! Remember, Boutique Frenzy is here to help the boutique industry! Let us know if we can help you find a vendor, a show, or help you promote your show! Give us the details in advance and we can help make your event a success!!! We all need to work together to make the boutique industry grow! get into the FRENZY today!!!
